AVP Hot Winter nights Tournament at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY
East end Volleyball has arranged a “Meet & Greet” session at this week’s AVP Hot Winter nights Tournament at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The first 50 players who sign up using the EEVB Tournament registration page at www.eevb.net/reg will be allowed to enter the Coliseum at 5:15 pm and join us in an autograph session and discussion with the 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist, who also won 9 EEVB tournaments on his way to the Olympics.
THIS WILL BE THE AVP’S ONLY NY METROPOLITAN APPEARANCE IN 2009. DON’T WAIT! REGISTER TODAY IF YOU WANT TO COME AND MEET PHIL DALHAUSSER.
And be part of a fun mid winter beach volleyball party.
All registered players must purchase their own ticket either at Ticketmaster or at the Coliseum Box office. We will meet by the will call windo.box office at 5 pm Friday night. Once in you will be able to attend the meet and greet session and then watch a clinic run by other pros prior to the 7:30 to 10:30 tournament.

If your team has played together in 2008-2009, you can complete the "seeding form" however this document is not required since teams will be ranked based on the 2009 champs/regionals results.
The 5 digit club # can be whatever you want it to be - any 5 digits or characters.
Pre-tournament Manual
All registration for this event will be done through the Advanced Events System. You will need to create a new login and password since the entire system has been restructured. You can find instructions on the USA Volleyball website on the pre-tournament manual webpage.
ALL MEMBERS ON YOUR ROSTER MUST BE USAV MEMBERS (NERVA Region or another region) BEFORE ADDING THEM TO YOUR ROSTER. Please make sure they sign up at

Nationals Rating Mappings
Ratings for the US Open are the same as Regional's for single
gender tournaments (see below) except there is no minimum
required for the US Open.
Nationals Coed and Reverse Coed Conversions:
B/BB No more than 3 B+, the rest B or below
***In addition, you will not be allowed to have all 3
B+ ratings in one gender. (for example: you may not
bring a team of 3 B+ women and 3 B men or vice
versa)***
Men's AA: No limit
Men's A: 2 A, 4 A-, the rest below
(An A+ will be allowed IF they take fewer A/A- players)
Men's BB: 1 A-, 3 B+, the rest B or below

BSSC Volleyball sKILLS Clinic Series
Increase your kills by improving your skills! We have some space open for our
Volleyball sKILLS Clinic Series that starts this Thursday night in Waltham,
plus a one-day Passing & Digging Clinic later this month...

sKILLS CLINIC SERIES
Space is limited to increase one-on-one instruction! Enjoy 8 weeks of instruction and play in Waltham. You must pre-register, include your current level of play.
- Recreational/Adv. Beginner meets 7:30-9PM
- Intermediate meets 9-10:30PM
Thursdays starting February 5 - $100, non-members add $25. Please send the registration form in with payment.
ONE DAY CLINICS
Improve your game by focusing on a particular skill for a few hours! Reserve now to guarantee your space.
All are on lead by Tom Wilson and meet on Sundays from Noon to 2:30pm at West Newton Armory.

Breast Cancer Volleyball Tournament - NY
Herman Lim from Performance VBC in the GEVA region would like to know if you could possibly send out an email to your club directors in your regiona regarding a 2 day tournament we are hosting on May 9th and 10th on Long Island. This tournament is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research and Awareness.
